Don't Want, Need The Giants To Draft Abdul Carter After He Posted A Picture Of Lawrence Taylor And Teased Us Of Greatness

I should specify that Abdul Carter is on his visit to the Giants today. That's how you end up with him posting this picture of Lawrence Taylor. But you know what? We're delusional fans. We know this team sucks, but that won't stop us of dreaming of greatness. Remember the NASCAR package that won a Super Bowl? That's where our brains go right now. The trio of Strahan, Tuck and Osi start dancing in our head when we dream of what Carter could be with what the Giants currently have on the defensive line. 

I'll be very clear here. Abdul Carter is awesome. 

Also well aware that the Giants need a quarterback. Don't think the room of Jameis, Russ and Tommy DeVito is winning anything of note, besides giving us dumb bloggers easy content. That can be addressed later. Get as much talent on this roster as possible, because, well, it's lacking. You need upgrades in a lot of spots and the Giants can't be drafting for need. Take the best player available at 3. It's that simple. 

I'm not letting former Penn State players ruin my thought of drafting a Penn State player on the Giants. New way of thinking, credit to me here. Really I just want something to cheer for again. I've said it before, but the Giants are so goddamn bad that we've hit a point of apathy as fans with them. We expect the worst and it still happens. You think I trust a quarterback to come in and figure it out with this current group? You saw the offensive line when Andrew Thomas got hurt, right? There was always something special about the Giants defense through the years. You go back to Lawrence Thomas, Carl Banks and Pepper Johnson. You look at the Strahan group I mentioned. Jason Sehorn was a Giant. Give us Abdul Carter.
