Steven Kwan Did A Gender Reveal For David Fry By Calling Time And Putting On A Pink Wristband

I don't know where to begin with this one. I think my first and foremost point would be that Steven Kwan needs to be extended yesterday. Next best option would be today. And if we can't get it done before first pitch vs. the Yankees here soon, we have to get it done tomorrow. The fact of the matter is that Steven Kwan is a fucking monster. He's only 27 years old, has been a consistent hitter at the top of the lineup for years already, and is currently hitting .341 on the young season with already 4 home runs. Plus, the dude is a great person and a great teammate. I'm sick and tired of Cleveland's baseball team losing guys like this to the Yankees....so whatever it takes, make it happen. The day we see Steven Kwan play anywhere but Cleveland will be an absolute disgrace to the organization. This is the type of dude you have to keep. Cleveland loves him. Everyone loves him.

...especially his teammates. The fact that he pulled off a gender reveal for his teammate yesterday, mid at-bat, says a lot not just about his and David Fry's relationship, but where our culture is at in general. Listen, I know the Yankees win because they spend money. I know the Astros win because they cheat. But the Guardians? The Guardians win because of the Power of Friendship.

And here's the thing: the Guardians lost more than they gained this off-season, coming off a year where they greatly outperformed expecations, and they're the best team in the American League thus far. You might accuse me of being a homer with that stat, but I'll recuse my fandom here for a second and just use analytics only:

How is that even possible? We have no business being at the top of that listen, even if it is only April 23rd. But with what appears to be a down American League and a down AL Central, I can't help but find myself wondering, why not us? Why not Steven Kwan and Jose Ramirez? The most underrated, likable team in baseball every single year, hands down.
