Green Bay Actually Did It! The Packers Took Speed Demon Wide Receiver Matthew Golden In The First Round To Take The Top Off Of Every Defense In The NFL

I truly though there was a rule in the Green Bay front office that you weren't allowed to draft a wide receiver in the first round. I guess we'll see tomorrow if Brian Gutekunst wakes up alive tomorrow or not to test the tradition, but hey this actually fun!

Matthew Golden can fly. His 4.29 was the fastest 40 of anyone in the draft. Does 40 speed directly correlate to being awesome? No, ask the Raiders and Darius Heyward Bey. But guess what? This young gentleman can separate and that's exactly what this Packers WR corp needs. Romeo Doubs, Jayden Reed, and Dontayvion Wicks are nice, but they need another guy to really take them to the next level. With Christian Watson out for probably the entire year, speed was a necessity at receiver. We got it. The drought is over. There's something beautiful about Matthew Golden joining the Green and Gold.
