Texas A&M at Texas Will Be CINEMA in Austin This Weekend!

There has been enthralling 10 months of buildup to this weekend in Austin since Coach Schloss bolted Texas A&M for arch rival Texas last summer.

Bolting for Texas is punishable by death as far as Aggie fans are concerned but that's not even half of it. Schloss left two days after A&M LOST IN THE FREAKING NATIONAL CHAMPHIONSHIP SERIES IN OMAHA!

If the Aggies had won, he would not even have gone to the parade!

The bad blood is so real between these two arch rivals but this poured gas on an already burning fire.

All Schloss has done at Texas in Year 1 is lead to the Longhorns to the #1 ranking in the country with an absurd 16-2 SEC record….. who does that?!?!?

While the Longhorns have been rolling, they got hit with some terrible news yesterday as their Ace Friday Pitcher Jared Spencer is out for the season with a shoulder injury. That is such a brutal loss at this juncture of the season.

Combine that with the injury of Golden Spikes candidate Max Belyeu and it is even more amazing Texas is in the top spot. Say what you will about Coach Schloss (and it has been said), the man can coach some college baseball.

The Aggies have been on a more turbulent ride this season. After promoting hitting coach Micheal Earley, they were able to bring back almost the entire roster from last season.

However, injuries hit them hard early and the Aggies were sitting at a woeful 1-9 SEC record just 21 days ago after getting no hit at Tennessee.

I don't know what the hell happened overnight in Knoxville but the Aggies came out on a mission from God since. They destroyed top ranked Tennessee in a double header Saturday 9-3 and 17-6.

And it has been on like donkey kong since sweeping South Carolina at home with two grand slams in the 9th and taking 2 of 3 on the road against Top 3 Arkansas. Superstar OF Jace Liovolette hit a whopping 4 home runs last weekend and should be the #1 pick in MLB Draft this summer.

In a moment of possible genius, I took Texas A&M at +5000 on the DraftKings Sportsbook to win the national title after the Tennessee series. The Aggies are now +1800!

A&M now sits at 8-10 in SEC and would be a #2 seed in the NCAA Tourney. They are coming into Austin with epic momentum and are going to make a statement this weekend by winning this hotly contested series.
