Hell Yeah: Nobody Rocks Harder Than The Fellas In The 80+ Division 100m At The Penn Relays
I know life expectancy continues to get older and older, but I feel like you're still lucky to even be on this side of the ground once you hit 80-years-old. Chances are that most people you know who are over 80 spend all day in a chair just soaking in their twilight years.
Not these fellas. These boys are all getting a quick 5k in before the sun comes up in the morning. They get back home to eat a breakfast of egg whites, cottage cheese, and a protein shake. 9am comes around and they're off to the gym. It's chest and tri day, so you know they're going to be peacocking around the gym once they get that pump going. Couple sets of 315, maybe hit the incline press until failure, just some light work. Quick lunch after the gym, then off to do some sprints to get themselves dialed in for Penn Relays, and then they're day is done just in time to make it over to your girl's apartment.
These dudes are dawgs. They might be 80+ in age, but in their mind they are still in their prime. They haven't even begun to peak. Pouring rain, over 80, still running a 16.02. Maybe age is just a mindset after all.
P.S. -- I'd love to know how many bloggers would lose to Dom "The Italian Stallion" Stellato in the 100.
