Gotta Want It More: Coverage Picks Up A PGA Championship Volunteer Nearly Falling Into The Water By 14 So He Can Go Home With Rory's Ball

I love this guy so much. This is why you sign up to be a PGA Championship volunteer. Sure, you may get some awesome spots, be up close to seeing the biggest names in golf. But that's not enough. You see Rory go into the water and the only option is to go shoulder deep to fish it out. That's how you make a name for yourself as a volunteer. Anyone can get the volunteer polo or hat, not everyone can get Rory's ball out of the water.

Sneaky hilarious how he waited for them to leave the green and then started his hunt. This is how you know he had a plan. This wasn't anything else, besides his brain telling him to go. I will say I was cheering for him to fall in. That's by far the funniest outcome here. A delay because we got a soaking wet volunteer trying to get out of the lake. Smart move putting it right in the pocket too. Doesn't look suspicious, just walking around with your lucky golf ball. 

This is what I want from the early groups though. Scoring is too low for my liking, but there's gonna be people trying to catch Scottie. Good luck with that. We've seen Scottie just run away with tournaments before and if he does that, we at least have a volunteer willing to risk it all.
