Tyrese Haliburton Is Treating The Pacers Fan Who Was Assaulted By Scumbag Knicks Fans To Game 4 Of The Eastern Conference Finals

Sports Illustrated - Haliburton told Perez he was going to fly him out to Indy for Game 4 of the conference finals against the Knicks, where Perez would get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet the team.

"I want to personally bring you and a plus one out here to come to Game 4 here in Indiana," Haliburton said. "I'll bring you guys out here, put you guys up, get you guys tickets to the game. Everybody in the organization wants to make sure you're taken care of. The whole team's excited to meet you—it's all we've been talking about, everybody's seen the video."

If you haven't seen the disgusting video of scumbag Knicks fans throwing garbage at an innocent Pacers fan / hero first responder simply trying to support his favorite basketball player, here it is. *WARNING WHAT YOU ARE ABOUT TO WITNESS IS DISTURBING*

People attempting to victim blame by saying this guy shouldn't have been walking around NYC in the jersey are disappointing. How was this guy supposed to know that directly outside of Madison Square Garden where the Knicks just clinched an ECF visit, a mob of fans would be celebrating a 2nd round playoff victory? No one could have predicted that.

Luckily, Haliburton and the Pacers organization are all class. All expenses paid for this fan / first responder to attend Game 4. I guess it's time to walk around NYC decked out in Pacers gear so I can be sitting court side when Indiana closes out at home for Game 6.

An interesting nugget in all of this was Haliburton saying. "The whole team is ready to meet you, the video is all we've been talking about." Sounds to me like Knicks fans poked the bear and woke him up. The Pacers aren't just doing this for a trip to the finals, the team is now ready to win for America and the first responders. Knicks fans, you done fucked up.
