Somehow we haven't reported on Sparks Forward Cameron Brink since early November? What happened to our dedicated diehard Los Angeles fans in the office? While we wait for that paperwork to process on the missing persons report for Karim, let's give a major high five to all 6'4'' of Cam.
She ran an absolutely DOMINANT full court press in her recent SI Swimsuit photoshoot. Tall glass of water doesn't even begin to describe the vibe.
But our very own Kayce Smith put it pretty eloquently.
It's a damn shame that torn ACL ended her rookie season so abruptly. She was really starting to seem comfortable in the paint and gaining that experienced confidence on offense too.
Sounds like a return to the court isn't too far off though, which is also huge news for the future fits to come in her entrance tunnel. HoF style already imo.

And as that wasn't enough, she's also just like fellow SI coworker Penny Lane. Not just a super model, but a role model too. Empowering as fuck! Time to fucking blast some Shania.
(Newsweek) - "I think it's always really hard to be a woman in this world, but especially a female athlete," Brink said. "Am I supposed to look more feminine? Am I supposed to look more athletic? What's the balance? What do people think?"
"My femininity—I hold that very close to my self-image, so it's definitely gone back and forth," Brink notes. "I think every female athlete's had a really rough go with body image. But I'm definitely glad I've gotten to a really good place, and I'm able to do stuff like this with SI Swimsuit. It's just very empowering, so I hope everyone can get to a point like this.
"When people look at these photos, I hope they just take away that I put a lot of work into my body, and it's a lot of work to be a professional athlete," she says. "Also, it's hard to put your body out there, but it's also really empowering."
Argue away on the internet if you want but I'm smart enough to trust a Stanford Grad/National Champion. If Cameron Brink wants to spread positivity through beach experiences & beautiful bodies, I have no choice but to be an #ally.
And so I shall. If it is to be said, so it be, so it is.
She may not be launching 3's like CC but CB is still making a huge impact on the future of the WNBA. On and off the court. And sometimes on beaches too. DEAL WITH IT.
Can't wait to see her get back out there for the LA Sparks and add some intrigue to this season. No lack of drama in the W so far just 1 weekend in. I'm just here to be an #ally.
And I'll definitely never try to get boxed out by Brink. That's a goddamn promise.
But I WILL continue to report on Angel Reese's FG %… Go Liberty!
