'Let's Shock The World' - Marc Dull Became A Golf Legend Yesterday, Pulled Off A Historic Upset Playing In The Same Tournament As Danny Woodhead And Sam Bradford

We had ourselves a pretty absurd story in the golf world yesterday. US Amateur Four-Ball Tournament going on in New Jersey, pretty big event. Hell, big enough for Danny Woodhead and Sam Bradford to qualify and play in it:

Now them and their teammates did not make it to the bracket round. I will not joke about Danny Woodhead not making the cut, that would be dumb. Instead this is about Marc Dull, a man who shocked the world yesterday.

Marc Dull had to play 2v1 because his teammate left to go to his kid's high school graduation. First of all, what high school has graduation on a Tuesday in May? Feel like it's always a Friday night no matter what. Anyways, the dude is out here playing 2v1. For those unfamiliar four-ball is another way just to say best ball. You play your own ball, best score is your team's score for that hole. So no mistakes allowed for Dull. He goes out and wins in the Sweet 16, turns around and had to play in the quarterfinals again.

Made it all the way to 18 before losing on the last hole to a birdie. Ridiculous. First guy in US Four Ball history to win a 2v1 match, rightfully so, considering how tough it is. I don't even care that he lost on the 18th hole, the fact he won a match and pushed the next one to 18 solo makes him a golf legend.

This is ultimate bragging rights. You can tell your buddy that you don't need him from here on out. Any time his playing partner is in trouble on a hole just hit him with a 'don't worry about it, won a whole match without you around.' Shout out Marc Dull.
