The Knicks Gagged Away A 14 Point Lead In The Final 2:45 Of The 4th After Aaron Nesmith Became Reggie Miller And Tyrese Halliburton Hit Yet Another Unbelievable Last Second Shot

There has been a lot of talk about the Knicks bringing back that 90s feeling and as someone who was baptized under fire during those 90s playoff games, let me tell you that felt EXACTLY like a 90s Knicks playoff game against the Pacers. Feeling helpless as a player starts hitting threes like layups as actual flames start shooting out of his ass to erase a big lead followed by Indiana making enough plays to pull out the close W as you try to figure out what the fuck just happened.

To all the young Knicks fans who stayed loyal to their team through the darkest of days but never witnessed any of that type of horror, this gif is for you.

So yeah, the end of that game was unbelievable other than the fact it was completely believable considering all the history these two teams have against each other in the playoffs over the last three decades and the fact may have TWO comebacks that were crazier than this already this postseason.

I will say that this loss is especially brutal because you had Aaron Nesmith playing the role of Reggie Miller The Stone Cold Assassin, Tyrese Haliburton playing the role of Reggie Miller The Dickhead Villain, and Reggie Miller calling all of it on TNT. I'm not sure how much longer I can watch TNT without smashing the mute button because hearing Reggie complain about every call the Pacers didn't get before instantly getting corrected by Stan Van Gundy is already out of hand. There's also no chance I am going to listen to what Draymond Green has to say after that debacle considering he said KAT ducked Jimmy Butler in a game while he was actually mourning someone who passed away. The NBA On NBC cannot return fast enough, even if they hired Reggie despite being a below average announcer at best.

I also have no clue what the fuck happened on that last defensive possession for the Knicks where they didn't try for a steal or a foul and I don't plan on watching anything basketball related until Game 2 tips on Friday. So I am just going to choose to believe Thibs is saving his defensive stop plays for the end of the series instead of at the end of a Game 1 that feels like it already swung the series massively. Maybe hit your free throws next time as well. Just my thoughts on the matter.
