'Just Wanted To Foul Him For Real' - Jaden McDaniels Had Enough Of SGA's Flopping, Became NBA Twitter's Favorite Player With This Flagrant Foul

I know there's been a ton of talk about flopping and foul-baiting and how it only ever happens now. People have lost complete control over what's actually going on and the whole premise of 'foul-baiting.' First of all, blame the refs. They are the ones making the calls and deciding what's a physical foul and what's not. Second of all, this is every sport. Watch a wide receiver after any incomplete pass. Watch any sport (outside of hockey, probably) and you'll see some form of foul-baiting or however you want to classify drawing a call. The constant bitching like SGA is the only person who does this (don't say Brunson, he gets murdered every game) is just dumb. That's my biggest problem.

But then here comes Jaden McDaniels.

I love the play, no problem here even as a guy who loves watching SGA play. This is what basketball is supposed to be and has always been. You see a guy flopping and had enough of it while your team gets its ass kicked in the second half during games 1 and 2? Send a message, try to wake up your team, do whatever because the Wolves are a disaster right now. Plus you win over all the people complaining that Shai needs to actually get fouled. Again, be pissed off at the refs and just embrace watching an MVP and a potential physical game 3. That's all we need to do now.

Do love that McDaniels openly admitted this was the play. He's sick of getting called for soft fouls, give him something to actually call. Just let the guys play, beat the hell out of each other and winner advance.
