Stefon Diggs and Offset (Cardi B's Ex from Migos) Traded Barbs On Social Media
Yahoo Entertainment - Cardi B’s boyfriend, Stefon Diggs, seemingly gave a crafty response to Offset’s latest remarks. The Grammy winner’s ex-husband apparently took a dig at her latest online posts, officially announcing her relationship with the star NFL player. The photos captured a few intimate moments between the new couple as they enjoyed a perfect romantic getaway on a yacht.
Reportedly, Offset threw a “PR” shade at the pair through a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter). It also included a GIF of a person tossing a basketball with “TODAY I PASS” written on it. However, the posts were immediately deleted. But it seemed the damage had been done as Diggs’ Instagram Story appeared to be a response to the Migos rapper’s comments.
The New England Patriots’ wide receiver didn’t react to Cardi B’s official announcement about their relationship. However, he seemingly didn’t hold back when her estranged spouse took a dig at their romance. In response to Offset’s now-deleted post, Diggs seemingly posted a black-and-white photo of himself on his Instagram story. The picture showed him catching a football, which hyped fans’ speculations, claiming the footballer caught Offset’s “pass.”
First off, can I say how much I am thoroughly enjoying watching Jerry Thornton immerse himself in the gutter hip-hop world of Migos-Offset-Cardi B drama on a routine basis now that Cardi B's new boyfriend, Stefon Diggs, is a member of the New England Patriots?
In classic Jerry fashion, he has managed to wash the balls of Diggs, better than his ex-stripper girlfriend could ever dream of. Everybody around here knows there is no better spinmaster, or public relations mouthpiece on planet Earth than Jerry. So seeing him put his magic touch on this circus has been extra special.
If Diggs had been picked up by the junior varsity team in East Rutherford, you can bet your ass he would be taking a flamethrower to this situation- going scorched Earth on Woody Johnson and his minions for welcoming a locker room cancer STD like Diggs into the fold. But's the difference between Jerry and the rest of the football writers in this country. He keep its 100 as the kids say. He's as objective and fair as they come. That's why he's the best football writer in America and we are so lucky to have him on our team here at Barstool.
That said, in all of his coverage of this Telenovela, he happened to pass over this tidbit that went down over the past 48 hours between Diggs and Offset via social media.
For those of you living in a cave, and not caught up on Cardi B's love life, she finally left Offset after catching him cheating on her for the 900th time. She filed for divorce from the Migos rapper on July 30th, and announced being pregnant with his third child on August 1, 2024.
Mr. Offset did not take the news well. And has displayed a rollercoaster of emotions on social media since. One day he'll post a clip from Scarface with Al Pacino scraming “Hey, fuck you, man! Who put this thing together? Me! Who do I trust? Me!”
The next, he'll post something deep and prophetic talking about the meaning of life and finding true love. That's just how modern day philosophers roll.
Speculation and rumors began to swirl in October when Cardi was spotted at club with Diggs. People were asking if this was a new fling now that she was single. Or if they had been messing around for a while, and were just going public now.
