Every Pacers Player Got A Street Named After Them In Indianapolis Which Is A Perfectly Normal Thing To Do When You're Hosting The NBA Finals

Love this. This isn't bad luck, or cringe, the internet is going to hate no matter what. This is what you get to do when everyone is coming to your city for a massive event. During the Indy 500 - every driver gets a street sign, during the Big 10 Tournament - every school gets a street sign, and now with Indianapolis hosting the NBA finals - every player gets a street sign. I should just enjoy the moment and accept the best host city in sports is doing it big for the fans, but instead I must address the haters.

Pacer fans didn't give a shit that the Knicks put up street signs, Boston fans were laughing at you for turning 6th Ave into Cam Payne Place for a second round victory. Celtics fans danced on the Knicks grave more than Pacer fans. I was on record saying the timing is weird, NYC should either do it before the playoffs or for the finals, because a second round celebration is strange - but go off. Knicks fans don't have basketball to talk about at this point of the season, so I guess they have to concern themselves with more street sign talk. Plenty of basketball left in Indianapolis, if you need me this week, find me on Toppin Ave.
