Another Sign Of A Dominant Run: Scottie Is Officially The Biggest Favorite We've Seen At The US Open Since Tiger Woods In 2009

I know there's a lot of Scottie discourse and where this run stands in terms of golf history or what not. This sums it up pretty well. You can't argue LIV guys are not playing, it's a full group, toughest course that could be played, all that stuff. Scottie is the biggest favorite since we saw since Tiger Woods in 2009 at Bethpage. That can mean one thing and one thing only

It's Lucas Glover time. He's the guy who won in 2009 when Tiger was the heavy favorite and is in the field again. I'm mostly kidding here but when you're looking at guys I can't believe some of the names I'm trying to come up with for my card. Looking at you Harris English. This isn't about that though, this is about Scottie. He's the most dominant golfer we've seen since Tiger. He's putting together a resume we haven't seen since Tiger. 

If anything these sort of odds at Oakmont show the respect he deserves. I don't know who hasn't given him the respect but anyone out there who is still doubting him or trying to say Scottie is only winning all these tournaments because of the field needs to understand what we're watching here.
