As If The Diddy Trial Wasn’t Enough Of A Circus, Kanye West Just Arrived “To Show Support” For Combs.

USA Today - Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, showed up to federal court Friday to seemingly support Sean "Diddy" Combs in his federal sex-crimes trial.

Dressed in an all-white ensemble, harkening back to Combs' heyday as a host of the infamous star-studded White Parties, Ye was pictured inside the Daniel Patrick Moynihan United States Courthouse in Manhattan on Friday, June 13.

Ye was not inside the main courtroom, and instead went to a secondary overflow room that the court opened up. He sat in there for 10 minutes or less and watched a bit of testimony before leaving the overflow room. It's not clear whether he left the courthouse, was brought up to the main courtroom or otherwise.

Clowns gonna clown.

I was going to say that just when you though this trial couldn't get any more outlandish, this guy shows up. But then, upon second thought, what's a four-ring circus without Bozo?

Kanye pulled up to the front door of the court house today, (fashionably late), with plenty of paparazzi conveniently aware he was arriving, and strolled into Manhattan’s Daniel Patrick Moynihan Courthouse wearing head-to-toe white, (a not-so-subtle throwback to the iconic all-white Hamptons parties Diddy used to throw during his prime, that somebody else has since inherited...)

But instead of sitting in the main courtroom, Ye was spotted ducking into the overflow room that had been opened up for additional spectators and independent journalists. According to witnesses, he stayed for maybe ten minutes, caught a snippet of testimony, and then bounced. No word on whether he stayed in the building or headed out entirely. He just needed everybody to know he was there. And that he was there to support Combs.

And Diddy is supposedly happy he came -

The timing of all this was interesting.

Just yesterday, “Jane Doe,” one of the key accusers, who has been on the stand all week since late last Friday, testified about "being flown to a birthday party on another rapper’s private jet".

During earlier cross-examination, Diddy’s attorney name-dropped this mystery host as "a major music industry figure". He  described this person as "a very successful rapper at the top of the music industry, and icon, who had recorded with Combs previously and had a close personal relationship with him."

Everybody with a brain assumed the rapper in question was Jay Z. But as our friend Emilie pointed out, that doesn't seem to be the case -

To further the case that this mystery rapper and figure in question was West, I would also like to ask the court to please take a look at and listen to Exhibit A:

A song posted on X and later deleted online by Ye was released in March.

The track "Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine," features Combs, Ye and his 11-year-old daughter North West, whom he shares with ex-wife and reality TV star Kim Kardashian. The song also features Combs' youngest son Christian "King" Combs.

"I just wanna thank you so much for just taking care of my kids, man; 'Cause ain't nobody reach out to me / Ain't nobody call me, you know what I'm sayin'?" Combs said during the song in a phone call to Ye, seemingly recorded from his Brooklyn prison. "Nobody, you know what I'm sayin'?"

"And that meant so much, you know what I'm sayin', that you reached out to them and took them under your wing while I'm in this (facility)," the call continued, according to lyrics posted by online music encyclopedia company Genius.

As the old saying goes, birds of a feather flock to together

We're at the about half way through the time experts estimated this trial to take, just closing out week 5, and the prosecution still hasn't made an open-and-shut case for racketeering and criminal enterprise. They claim they're building towards it so if that's really the case, then I don't think we're anywhere close to being done with this thing. But I'm not an expert my any means, and am in fact a moron so what do I know?
