Coach O Had This Guy Instantly Regret Saying “Roll Tide”

You all know me … Roll Tide til I die (basketball anyway, and only if Oats is their coach). But even I would know to be careful on enemy territory. 

SEC football is serious business. As serious as it gets ladies and gentleman so you gotta know when you go into a situation taunting a rival they aren’t going to take it lightly. And I’m talking radio callers, preachers, and the local mailman would take it seriously. The former head coach of a program lives and dies with that team. You gotta be out of your damn mind to taunt an opposing coach and think it could go well. And you gotta be even more insane to think you can taunt Coach O of all people. 

Well that’s what this guy did. Gotta admire the stones but my God did Coach O put him back in his place INSTANTLY. The kid was panicked the minute he turned around. PANICKED. Credit to Coach O - he handled it well and was basically like me in the sense that we want to end Gotcha culture. You can’t just take a shot at someone and not think they have a right to be pissed or call you out for being a straight up dick. Coach O did both but with class. 

Also … kinda hard to flex “Roll Tide” to Coach O who was 1-6 vs Bama but his lone win came with one of the greatest teams we’ve ever seen in route to an undefeated title. And the guys beloved by all. 

Let’s stick to basketball people. The future is bright.
