"That's Bullshit": Nick Sirianni Knows How Much Of A Joke All The Talk About Jalen Hurts Has Been This Offseason

The conversation last summer, ad nauseam, was all about the fractured relationship between Jalen Hurts and Nick Sirianni. Every morning you would turn on the radio and listen to people debate about how these two would never be able to get along, and that you'd have to choose one or the other. The best part about winning is that it cures everything. So now that relationship between Jalen Hurts and Nick Sirianni has never been stronger, and we already have coach coming out to shit on everybody in the media who is doubting his quarterback. I cannot even begin to explain how much better it is to have an "us against the world" feeling heading into this season as opposed to an "us against ourselves".

The Philadelphia Eagles are Super Bowl Champions. The great thing about that is that Philly fans don't have to give a shit about what anybody thinks or says from now on. If the dipshits on the radio want to say that Jalen Hurts got carried by a great roster, it literally does not matter because the Eagles are champs. If the clowns on television want to say there are 15 QB's in the league they would take over Jalen Hurts, it literally does not matter because the Eagles are champs. If some dick bag on Twitter tries to argue that Jalen Hurts is holding the team back, it literally does not matter because the Eagles are champs.

But just for fun, let's rattle off all the quarterbacks who have won a Super Bowl since 2015.

Tom Brady 4x, Patrick Mahomes 3x, Peyton Manning, Matthew Stafford, Nick Foles, and Jalen Hurts.

You won't find the name Josh Allen in there. Look as hard as you want and you won't see Justin Herbert's name even close. No Joe Burrow, no Lamar Jackson, no Jared Goff. None of those guys have been able to accomplish what Jalen Hurts has accomplished. So who gives a flying fuck about quarterback rankings if guys who have never even played for a Super Bowl are ranked ahead of a Super Bowl MVP, and a guy who has outplayed Patrick Mahomes in 2 Super Bowl performances over the last 3 seasons?

It's bullshit. And Nick Sirianni knows it.

The thing about media today is that nobody actually believes in what they are saying. The only thing that matters is clicks and views. Rage views count just as much as any in this industry, and maybe even more. All these shows have a ton of time to kill in the offseason, and they need to find a way to get people to tune in. The easiest formula for that has been to shit on Jalen Hurts.

It's time to just let it go. Just realize that any time anyone ranks someone like Justin Herbert ahead of Jalen Hurts they are either A) desperate for attention, or B) have no idea what they are talking about. Either way, you should feel sorry for them rather than care about anything that comes out of their mouth. Because you know for damn sure that Jalen Hurts doesn't give a shit about what anybody has to say about him.

He's just been locked in and hanging out with one of the greatest winners in the history of sports. Jalen Hurts is only going to become more of a killer as he goes. He got a taste of winning, and now he's going to become addicted to it. The talking heads in the media can rank him 32nd for all he cares. Last time I checked, being ranked a top-5 quarterback by ESPN wasn't a prerequisite to win a Super Bowl.
