The Red Sox Are So Back

Whether it's the 10 game win streak or the young bucks wheeling 10's on Nantucket, it's safe to say the Red Sox are BACK. For years and years all we have heard is about the kids. "The kids are coming. Everything will change when the kids arrive. Marcelo Mayer this....Roman Anthony that." Well let me just say, the kids are here to fucking stay. Boston is their city now.  

This is exactly what the Sox needed. Getting that fat locker room cancer Raffy Devers out of the room, and letting the boys cook. Post game beers every night. Hitting the town together. You know, actually hanging out and liking each other. Want Marcelo Mayer to play Second Base? Sure. He's down. He'll take grounders on the beach in Ack in-between going to the Chicken Box and Straight Wharf with the fellas, while they have every rocket on the North Shore there with them. 

In terms of actual Baseball or any sport in general I do feel when it comes to team building, having guys who played together through the minors is a much more successful recipe. Pretty obvious statement. But the guys who essentially grow up together in the minors play harder for each other and I feel like that is what we are seeing at Fenway. 

I'm not the most knowledgeable baseball guy. But I noticed there was nothing on the blog about the Red Sox and that is a damn shame. This team is electric. They have made the city fall in love with Baseball again. Add in they fact they are a bunch of stallions and they have the potential to dominate this city. 

The walk offs, the pop of the Fenway faithful on a summer night, Ceddanne Rafaela being an electric factory night in and night out.... This Red Sox team is making me love Baseball again and I don't think i'm the only one. 

(imagine the damage these guys woulda done at the Baseball Tavern….my god)
