The NBA Needs To Wake Up And Follow The MLB's Lead By Also Bringing Back Normal Team Jerseys In The All Star Game

Dear Adam Silver,

I hope this blog finds you well. I know you're busy in Vegas right now holding the Governors meeting or whatever, where you're talking about a wide variety of league issues including potentially having expansion, even though we all know that at the end of the day the owners are going to continue to screw the fine people of Seattle. Bring back the Sonics you cowards. 

Sorry, I got distracted. I just really want to live in a world where the Sonics exist again. They were fun as shit. Anyway, I know you have a lot going on, but I'm going to need you to please wake the fuck up. Rob Manfred and Major League Baseball are kicking your dick in when it comes to the All Star Game. For starters, they brought back Ludacris and who among us doesn't love a Ludacris and Jermaine Dupree throwback performance? Kids nowadays just don't understand how massive Welcome To Atlanta was for so many of us growing up.

Then in the actual game, their new ABS system made its debut to mostly good reviews

and I'm not going to hold any of that against you. Maybe Ludacris is booked during the NBA's All Star Weekend. I don't need more replay in NBA games, so that's whatever too.

But where you need to get your head out of your ass and follow Major League Baseball's lead is this

You know how you're obsessed with solving your All Star Game problem? Here's what we don't need. We don't need a weird meaningless tournament. We don't need Team USA vs The World. That picture right there is all we're asking for. Just give us back the classics. Stop overthinking things and just go back to the glory days. Look at how much better this All Star game looks with the players in their normal jerseys! It's foolproof! 

And guess what? The same thing is true for your league!

Look at how much better that is! This is what the people want! This will get more people to watch I guarantee it. Perhaps if they look and feel like the old days, they'll play like the old days! Imagine that, everyone wins!

Please, stop with the terrible new futuristic bullshit All Star jerseys and just go back to the normal look. Ideally, you'd go back to these throwbacks you see above, but I won't be picky. I know it sounds crazy to follow anything the MLB does because normally they're the absolute worst with everything, but they're on the money with this. If it's about money, I also guarantee people will by All Star versions of the current team jersey or an updated throwback. You'd print money.
