Miss Peaches Was A Guest On Jimmy Fallon's "Tonight Show" Last Night, With Her Handler Dave, And Won Everybody Over As Usual

In the 21 years I've known Dave, I've seen him build an empire, silence haters, stand up to the cancel police (numerous times), become the face of pizza in America, and do more for small businesses than the Federal and State governments of this country did during the pandemic. But I'll tell you what I didn't see coming- Dave turning into the patron saint of rescue dogs everywhere. And Dave's dog, Miss Peaches, becoming a bona fide celebrity.

But here we are. Miss Peaches was a special guest on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon  last night to “talk” about her new drink collab- "Lucky One" Lemonade. Which is excellent by the way. And a portion of proceeds from every sale goes to shelters like Lifeline Animal Project, where Peaches came from.

A tiny rescue dog with more charisma than half of Hollywood is legitimately out here launching beverages, and sitting on Jimmy’s couch like she owns the place. Because honestly? She kinda does.

I mean, look at this face.

If you've seen Miss Peaches, you know exactly what I'm saying. She is not just cute. She is outrageously, unfairly cute.  It's borderline criminal how tiny and perfect she is. She is smaller than you'd think possible for a dog that's single-handedly changed the game for shelter pets everywhere.

So it's not a surprise that she's began making her rounds on the late night tv circuit. Actually, it's about damn time.

Jimmy Fallon was the first host to extend the invite. And she she flew private to NYC with her handler Dave for her appearance. She even got her own dressing room! (So Zach Bryan couldn't kick her out.)

She stunned in a custom made (couture) ensemble that took the audience, and host's breathe away.

And she was very well behaved, as usual, while Dave did all the talking. Thanks to her lovable face, and thanks to Dave's enormous platform, Miss Peaches has raised tens of millions of dollars for dog rescues and foster organizations. I'm not exaggerating here. We're talking life-changing money that's helping to find homes for thousands of dogs just like her. It's seriously incredible.

She watched while Jimmy tried Monte's, and Dave defending him causing every fucking pizza place in America to try and make their pizza crispy now. As well behaved as ever.

(Sidebar - by the way, tickets are now on Sale for this year's third annual One Bite Pizza Fest in NYC. One of the best events of the year, that's gotten better and better each time. Monte's is there, (and is legit af), as well as another 39 of the best pizza joints in the country. Get your tickets to one of the two sessions now.)

Do I selfishly wish Dave had kids? Absolutely. The man would be an all-time dad.

But honestly, seeing what he's done with Miss Peaches is just as satisfying. Maybe even more so. (And shoutout Pete the Beagle, because I fucking love that guy too. I'm obsessed with beagles)

Dave could've gone designer dog shopping, but instead, he adopted these scrappy little champions who desperately needed homes. He turned Miss Peaches and Pete into national icons, ambassadors for pet adoption who are literally saving lives. I know I'm usually sentimental, but if that doesn't melt your ice-cold heart even just a little bit, you might not have one.

So, cheers to Fallon for having them on and shining the spotlight on such a great story, cheers to Miss Peaches, the tiniest powerhouse in dog advocacy history, and cheers to Dave for making it all happen.

Here's the whole segment.
