Congrats To Ray Romano For One Of The Weirdest Karaoke Performance Of All Time

Everybody really does love Raymond. Seems like a very easy going guy, rolls with the punches, answers awkward questions about his twins and then has fun with it after the fact. 

And I hate trying to kick a guy everyone loves, but what a performance folks. Let's first discuss the song choice, it's a celebrity golf tournament and athletes roll with the punches or are looking for a good time more than stuffed shirt celebrities or CEO's at a benefit dinner, so maybe he did think "you know what will pump everyone up ... Eminem." It also probably works because a lot of these athletes having Eminem as their favorite rapper. But even if it's a crowd favorite, the level of difficulty is super hard. Ray talks slow and like every average dad on the planet. He played a newspaper writer in his show for Pete's sake, he's a simple guy. He ain't a rapper ... pick an easy song bro do yourself a favor. 

In the end I give him a ton of props for being the guy to say "Fuck it, I'll do Eminem" knowing he very well could bomb(which he did) and being able to live to tell about it. It's a fun event, a bunch of athletes playing golf and in a week people will forget about it, but I'm sure he'll have a bunch of moments down the road where he goes "shit I really messed that song." But hey will all have good or bad moments on the internet, that's the game.
