'You Can Move Out Of The Way' - Golf Fans Are Freaking Out, Calling Bryson Fake Because Of This Clip Of Him Talking To A Spotter At The Open

You're telling me the guy who is on YouTube is different than the guy in the final round of The Open? Shocking, I tell you. Shocking. I don't know if it's me or just not caring, but this seems like nothing. Yeah he probably could have said it differently to the spotter, but does anyone actually care about this? I don't. I just can't imagine caring enough to be mad about this, which is a weird clip to post by CBS if we're being honest.

Obviously Bryson is a polarizing guy. Whether it's how he talks about the game of golf, LIV, YouTube, whatever, people either love or hate him. I think he's good for the game. He's obviously a damn good golfer, wins majors, plays in the Ryder Cup but you need characters in golf. It's one of the sports that's so buttoned up, guys skip media and everything that you just watch them and that's it.

I get how this sport operates. It's sportsmanship, calling penalties on yourself, hats off when you meet someone like Beef does no matter the situation. So any sort of talk like this and fans will lose their shit. It just cracks me up that they go immediately to fake. That's been the talk about Bryson forever! He did the right PR going from the weird guy on tour to at least the weird guy who embraced fans. I'm also aware social media is hardly all fans, just giving a glimpse on how people are looking at this. Again, I don't think it's anything or at least nothing serious to change how you think of Bryson. Either you liked him before and you still do or you thought he was fake, an asshole, whatever and will use this to back it up.

All that matters is now Bryson starts thinking about the Ryder Cup. Only thing he has left to play for this year.
