Dak Prescott Looks Like He's Having A Blast As The Cool Counselor At Summer Camp

Yee haw, cowboy!! Herewegooooooooo.

People forget that football is supposed to be fun. It's not about the wins and the losses--and especially not about the playoff losses. It's not about the guaranteed $231 million contracts. It's not about upholding a standard of excellence which players who came before you instilled upon your organization.

It's about having fun. It's about letting loose. It's about not taking yourself too seriously, and allowing some time for silliness throughout your day. That's what football is about, and that's what it has always been about. Who gives a shit if the Dallas Cowboys haven't even been to an NFC Championship Game since before most of the guys on the current roster were even born? It does not matter. All that matters are the smiles and laughs you share along the way.

Dak Prescott gets it. It's why he'll always be remembered as a generational talent. People want to point out the playoff losses, but they'll never point out how many times he was able to goof off at training camp. His trophy case may be barren in hardware, but it's filled to the brim with jollification. If there's one thing Jerry Jones can take pride in, it's fostering an environment around that team where everybody feels safe and open to just be themselves.

Giddy up!

P.S. -- While Dak is dancing around like an actual cowboy, the Philadelphia Eagles sound like the most pissed off team who has ever won a championship before. Almost like they're disgusted at the fact that people would even bring up the fact that they won last year.
