Tonight On Barstool After Dark: Mintzy Goes Back To School And The Stream Doesn't End Until He Graduates

Yeah, I know we tried this back when I first got hired. I rolled in on the first day and pitched Mintzy a million different ideas and we liked this one the best. But for the historians in the replies, let us remember why Lucas and I were like nah, fuck this.

1.) Mintzy failed both 1st and 2nd grade

What the fuck were we supposed to do? He literally failed the very first test (the Alphabet) that we gave him....so we had to move him along anyways so he could fail the very next test (running an ice cream stand). What was the show going to be, fail 12 grades and still get moved on anyways?

2.) I was having to meet with Mintzy multiple times a week every single week.

This was actually the bigger deal in the decision. Look I'm a big Mintzy guy, but, yeah. Plus his travel schedule was getting tricky to work around! The idea of a 12 month long show....because we'd still be going....simply wasn't in the cards.

But in the Barstool After Dark spirit, we are going to finish what we started. Mintzy is going back to school tonight, and we're going to stream until he graduates....or dies? We'll start in 1st grade where I give him a test. If he passes, we move to 2nd grade. If he fails, we spin a new and improved punishment wheel (made by our resident terrorist Lucas) and complete that before we repeat the grade. And we'll do this for 1st....2nd...3rd...4th....all the way up to 12th grade graduation.
