Buford High School In Georgia Just Opened Their New $62 Million Football Stadium And It's Nicer Than A Ton Of College Football Stadiums
I feel like I see some viral shit from "Everything Georgia" like once every few months. And I know it's them every time because the name is simple but catchy, and their profile avatar is somewhat recognizable. Whatever they have in the water over there in Georgia seems to be working.
A high school football stadium with 10,000 seats and 15 luxury suites is the most rich suburb thing of all time. My high school football stadium had like 2,000 seats and a shitty scoreboard that had a bunch of pixel problems, and "luxury suites" was a school lunch table that had a somewhat decent view of the field. I couldn't even imagine having something a tenth of this nice in a place we spent 4 hours every Friday night in the fall. I mean just look at this thing:
Side note, I know nothing about this but when you really visualize it $62 million feels like kinda a rip off, but then again, when you compare it to billion dollar professional stadiums maybe they got a steal. And it apparently might be worthwhile because the school has 14 state championships, 13 of which are since 2001 including 3 three-peats and a four peat. All for a town with a population of 18,273. Must be nice.
