Watch: Neon Green Dildo Gets LAUNCHED From The Nosebleeds Onto A WNBA Court During The Final Minute Of A Tie Game. OH THE HUMANITY!

This is a day which will live in infamy for the WNBA. But is there such a thing as bad publicity? I'm not so sure. From what I've seen, generally more eyeballs = more pageviews = more money. Tale as old as time. Somehow, this can be good for business.

Of course I don't agree with what this phallus fanatic did. Any yet believe it or not, there are some positives that came out of this demented situation. We'll get to those below. ROLL THE TAPE!

The biggest positive here is that no one got hurt. Despite that green monster getting launched from the nosebleeds directly onto the free throw line, somehow all players avoided getting smashed by Shrek's hog. That's huge.

The 2nd positive is that this shows the WNBA is truly making a mark inside the wide world of sports. I know it may seem a little insensitive at first glance, but this is actually a big step towards equality for the entire league.

Insane fans have been throwing dildos onto NFL fields for YEARS. If anything, this was a beautiful wonderful Green Badge of Courage.

Welcome to The Show ladies!

Goddamn do I miss watching Gronk out there, no one was better at kickin' guys out the club and giving A+ soundbites after. Not to mention his 69 career TDs.

Anyway, the 3rd positive is also a pretty important one. Seeing a sex toy get randomly thrown onto the field of play is funny. And it's not like a dildo throw is a dime a dozen experience either. That Bills game was way back in 2016. We're averaging a dildo toss roughly once per decade. As long as none of the athletes are tripping over it, it's not really an egregious frequency overall.

So I hope fans of The W take this in stride and don't sweat the small stuff. Granted that was a massive 8 inch monster so maybe it'll take a few days to forget about it. I'm certainly not rooting for it to be a repeat offense this season. Totally fine with waiting till at least 2034 for the next Flyin' Phallic Wonder.
