You Are Looking Live: We Finally Get The Return Of Brent Musburger To TV, Joining The Booth To Help Call The Second Half Of Tonight's Game

I'm not here to argue whether or not football is back or not tonight. If you want it to be back, it is. If you want to yell that it's not, go ahead. You're not changing anyone's mind. But, this is about the return of a legend. Dan Patrick is right that you hear some voices and you immediately can go to a game or moment. Brent Musburger is one of them and just not for the Florida State moment or the Katherine Webb moment. 

He called some of the biggest games in all of sports. He's the reason we say March Madness, that was his idea. He has the catchphrase. 

It was a big game when you heard you are looking LIVE. It was time to strap into the couch and plan your bathroom trips, drink trips accordingly. Musburger was also one of the biggest and first guys to weave in some gambling talk during broadcasts. He was ahead of the time and was a master at letting you know if a score mattered or not. 

I can't believe it took this long for Musburger to get rewarded and honored by the Hall of Fame with this recognition. He called Super Bowls! He was a studio guy, a play-by-play guy and was the radio guy for the Raiders very recently! Kind of bullshit to make him call the second half of the Hall of Fame game though. At least give him the normal backups at the start of the game and not 4th string guys who people will fall in love with during Hard Knocks before they get cut. Let him at least start the game with a you're looking LIVE before the Collinsworth slide. 

Either way, it's the return of Brent tonight. That's a good enough reason to watch this second half.
