If I Could Go To A College Football Game Every Single Week This Season, Here's The Schedule I'd Follow

We're officially less than 20 games away from College Football kicking off, and not to understate my excitement level, but I can't fucking wait. College Football is the absolute best. Is the Big Ten or SEC the dominant conference? Is Kalen DeBoer allowed to have another 3 loss season at Alabama? How will Bill Belichick do at UNC? Is Arch Manning really the best QB of the last 20 years? And of course, can Ryan Day solve his Michigan problem?

I don't know why I did it, but yesterday I sat down and mapped out the "Perfect Schedule" I would follow this season if money wasn't an option and I could go to a game a week. Here's what I came up:

Week 0 - There’s really only one option: I’m going to Ireland. Iowa State vs Kansas State in Dublin.

Week 1 - There’s a bunch of really good openers. Bama at Florida State would’ve been up there a few years ago. And obviously LSU at Clemson kicking off at night will be electric. But how do you not go to what could be the preseason #1 vs #2 teams in the country: Texas @ Ohio State in the Horseshoe with Arch Manning trying to win a big game in front of 100,000 opposing fans

Week 2 - Pretty simple. I’ve already seen Iowa State so I’m not doing Iowa heading to Ames. I’ll probably throw on an Oklahoma polo and go stand on their sidelines and record Michigan vs the Sooners

Week 3 - A&M at Notre Dame and Florida @ LSU are both intriguing but I’ll be heading to each later in the year, so I’m heading to Knoxville for Georgia @ Tennessee

Week 4 - Weak week. Michigan @ Nebraska but I’ve already seen em once and will obviously again, so I’d head to Florida @ Miami and check out The U

Week 5 - I know it’s the White Out game with Oregon at Penn State, and Mintzy tells me he’ll be at Ole Miss vs LSU every year for the rest of his life, but I gotta do Alabama @ Georgia this week. I could be wrong here. Never been to a Whiteout, but isn't Bama @ Georgia the bigger game?

Week 6 - I’ve already seen both Texas and Florida, I’d like to go check out Belichick if he’s still there - give me Clemson @ UNC

Week 7 - Gotta be Oklahoma and Texas in the Red River Rivalry, although I’m hearing Ohio State @ Illinois might be a whole lot bigger in Week 7 than it appears right now

Week 8 - Some good SEC games this week, but this is the Saturday I’m heading to South Bend for USC @ Notre Dame.

Week 9 - No real huge SEC conference games. Michigan @ Michigan State doesn't interest me anymore. I kinda wanna go to Lubbock and see if this Texas Tech program is legit? This is my least favorite choice but I'm choosing Oklahoma State @ Texas Tech to get some variety here

Week 10 - Georgia / Florida is huge but folks I wouldn’t miss Penn State and that Benedict Arnold of a defensive coordinator they have coming back to Ohio State for the world.

Week 11 - Florida State @ Clemson has lost it’s luster so that’s going to be LSU @ Bama for me

Week 12 - Texas @ Georgia, easy

Week 13 - I’ve never been to Oregon and hear it’s a stadium you absolutely must see and hear, so that’s going to be USC @ the Ducks

Week 14 - I mean come on. They should honestly play The Iron Bowl at 8 am in Ann Arbor this year as a JV game for what will be the most anticipated matchup in college football history. Ryan Day and the reigning National Champions go to Michigan and try and do what they haven’t done since pre-covid. Easiest answer on the board

I'm sure I'll get chirped for the Penn State whiteout and also I don't LOVE my trip to Lubbock. But it can't be Georgia, Ohio State, Texas, and Alabama every week can it? Maybe it can be.

19 days remaining.
