Jeremiah Smith Kept Receipts On Texas Fans For Chirping His 1 Catch, 3 Yard WIN Over The Longhorns In The Cotton Bowl
Let's make sure we're on the same page about two things before I begin this blog:
1. Ohio State not only beat Texas 28-14 in their own backyard, they then went on to win the National Championship
2. Texas played a grand total of zero single coverage against Jeremiah Smith the entire game. Congratulations on holding him to 1 catch for 3 yards when you used 3 of your 11 defenders to stop him....?
I need DraftKings to release the Jeremiah Smith prop bets for Week 1 more than I need to breathe right now. This man (19 years old) just turned in a historic freshman season that ended in a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP and he's still stewing on the fact that Texas fans chirped him for a bad statline in a WIN? JJ is built different and if they didn't know that by now, they're about to find out in 26 days.
I could literally do a million of these Texas fans acting like "Texas shut down Jeremiah Smith". Do you guys not remember the last time a fanbase doubted him....for a bullshit pushoff to end a game?

I honestly feel bad for the two Texas defensive backs that were just named to the preseason Thorpe Award watch list. Like, I'm sure they're good and all, but how can you possibly win the Best Defensive Back Award with the tape that Jeremiah Smith is about to put you on in Week 1?
Keep talking Texas fans. It only helps the Buckeyes.
