Sydney Sweeney Controversy Continues! American Eagle Stands By Their "Good Jeans" Ad Amidst Sydney Allegedly Being Registered As A Republican
It's been a wild week for Sydney Sweeney and her jeans. Somehow, Palpatine returned. What followed was a seemingly innocent ad for American Eagle. But then a political maelstrom sucked Syd right into the chaos wormhole.
And that madness has continued into today. If you need a recap before we dive in, Hubbs & Jerry had some great blogs about what's transpired so far.
Now certainly the internet is a demented place 101% of the time… But after this ad campaign dropped, that shit went into overdrive. This reaction felt like a true pitchfork mob marching right to Ms. Sweeney's house with torches brightly lit.
Seemingly overnight Sydney went from being universally loved as America's #1 big boobed sweetheart to essentially becoming the H-Man reincarnated in a blonde wig. Not ideal!
It became tragically unfair to see such a beautiful American get dragged like that unnecessarily, especially when she clearly has bonafide blue collar blood in her veins.

But credit to American Eagle for not bending to the will of some truly mind fucked masses. They just put out a statement standing by their campaign and defended the sanctity of the slogan: "Sydney Sweeney Has Good Jeans".
When you really stack up the evidence, it's hard to argue against what seems to be pretty factual. Her jeans are pretty great, I wish they hugged my curves like that too. What's wrong with that? But alas.
Helluva comment section on that post, whew boy. Eat your heart out LobsterClaw!
So controversy over right? WRONG.
"The internet" went digging even deeper and discovered that Sydney is allegedly registered to vote as Republican in Florida. And although that remains unconfirmed, it didn't stop people from throwing fuel on the jeans/genes fire.
Including a shoutout from The Donald himself. The simulation abides.
Who knows where things go from here. I think Sydney's brand is strong enough to stand on its own, and ultimately that shouldn't even matter because she didn't do anything wrong whatsoever. All she did was put on some good jeans on top of her great genes and called it a day. What is the argument here… That she's a good looking human being? No shit Sherlock! We're punishing people for that now? Jesus Christ.
But of course, feel free to judge for yourself first. Jeans not included.
Just realized you can't fully judge for yourself without a fully unbiased gallery. Sorry about that.
Here's the jeans version.
Until she gets dragged away in handcuffs for something truly awful, consider me Team Syd for the foreseeable future. Judging from the movie roles she has coming up, there's more than meets the eye here. She's a true artist, and a legit ass actor.
Have respect idiots. She is legend.
My only question now is… Why haven't we done any ads with Sydney Sweeney? Are we dumb? Seems like that would be the crossover of the millennium. Maybe someday.
As far as any other opinions on the whole controversy goes, I'll let my pal Tom let you in on a little secret.
I don't care about anything. I'm only in this for the pageviews. And I do really enjoy throwing italics onto random words. Outside of that, there's not much I yearn for outside of those precious numbies. So onward we go. Sound off in the comments!
I will leave some more evidence for the Pan/Pam situation with Sydney. Keep an open mind! She might just really have good jeans. What's the better way to phrase that anyway?
Fuck it who cares. ROLL THE TAPE!
