This Japanese Player Driving In 2 Runs On A Squeeze Bunt Is What Baseball Is Meant To Be
Listen, I know you probably don't care about a random Japanese league game in August, but this was the coolest bunt I think I've ever seen. The real headlines in the league came from Trevor Bauer having a league worst 4.36 ERA (apparently pretty damn hard to do in that deadball era they're in) but this needs to be the real story. Definition of ethical hoops. No 450 foot nuke, torpedo bats, or whatever other bullshit the MLB has going on. Just some real nice small ball baseball.
I can't tell if he has the fastest teammates of all time, or they just practice this and it's like second nature to them at this point. This is some shit that would happen to the Yankees and would be the biggest sports clip of the week.
P.S. This fella Chusei Mannami was the same one who had legitimately the greatest throw in baseball history:
Bo Jackson is watching that somewhere smiling. Looks like I need to watch more NPB. Electricity. Dodgers, get on line 1.
