A List Of Hot Takes For The Rest Of The MLB Season Including Aaron Boone's Time In New York Coming To An End

Alright so I started a new TikTok series called "Hot Tates" where I make predictions for a certain sport, topic, etc based on the heat level of the chicken wings sauce I'm eating. Seeing if it can catch on when we have all these guests coming through the office....maybe they'll want get some takes off. Anyways, figured I'd blog this one as my first predictions are for the remainder of the MLB Season.

Mild: Cal Raleigh Wins AL MVP

I see on DraftKings that Aaron Judge is the favorite at the moment, but the way I see the rest of this season finishing, the Yankees are sliding and the Mariners got better at the deadline. I think if Raliegh catches Judge's 62 home runs, which will obviously be tough, he absolutely has to win the award.

Medium: The Dodgers Will NOT Repeat

The Dodgers are really good, no doubt about it. But so are A LOT of teams in the NL this year. I mean, are we sure they're even going to win their division? Again, this isn't a knock on the Dodgers but the Padres are only 3 back in the West, and I'd take the field over the Dodgers this season for sure.

Hot: There will be a 1st time World Series Champion

Obviously the Rays and Rockies aren't going to win, but the first timers list includes the Brewers, Padres, and Mariners. You give me those three and I think I'm taking that bet, especially with how the Brewers are playing right now.

Wild: The Yankees will miss the playoffs and Aaron Boone will be fired

I will say I made this video two days ago when this was a little hotter of a take, but even with the last two nights losses making it 5 in a row, the Yankees would still be in the playoffs if the season ended today. But now they're only up half a game in the final Wild Card slot, so the way things appears to be trending, they could be sitting at home in October (which would be insane for a team with a $300,000,000 payroll). If that happens, and maybe even if it doesn't, Aaron Boone is GONE.
