Ball Over Everything: Fella Doesn't Even Think About Getting Up After His Lady Gets Taken Out Of Bucs Preseason Game By Paramedics

This man has been waiting since January 12th for Bucs football to be back. The moment Tampa lost to the Commanders in the wild card, all meaning had been zapped out of his life. All he could do is sit there and wait for the next season to come around. They got some help in the draft at the receiver position and in the secondary. They added some depth to the offensive line. They just added Teddy Bridgewater to the roster last week. There are plenty of things to be excited about if you're a Tampa Bay Bucs fan. And all this dude wanted to do was watch his first Buccaneers game in 7 months in peace.

What does his old lady go out and do? Ties one on and has to get removed from the stadium by paramedics. And now our boy over here has the decision of a lifetime to make. Does he leave the first Buccaneers game he's gotten to watch in 7 months early to be with his lady, or does he stay to watch the rest of the game and suffer whatever consequences are waiting for him when he gets back home?

Looks like it was a pretty easy decision to make. And the right one, too. There's nothing that beats the anticipation of football season coming back into our lives. It's the one time of the year when everyone across the nation is filled with joy and optimism. Your favorite team hasn't had enough time yet to let you down. There's so much hope in the air. Hope that maybe, just maybe, this could be your year. If everyone stays healthy and plays up to their potential, there's no reason why your team can't get hot at the right moment and go on a miraculous run.

Maybe you leave the game early if it's week 9 and your team is already out of the playoff picture. But this fella loves ball, and he loves the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He needs to sit there and watch the entire preseason game because he needs to know what his boys are working with this year. If a starter goes down with an injury for a few weeks, he needs to know what to expect from the next man up. If that means he needs to sleep on the couch for the next few weeks because he didn't even think about getting up out of his seat? Then so be it. Honestly that might even be a better situation anyway. Sleep on the couch and break down some film at night instead of having to watch some shitty show in bed. Nobody is going to be more locked in this NFL season.
