Yeah, No Shit: Jerry Jones Admits The Cowboys Are A Soap Opera And He'll Purposely Stir Up Controversy To Keep Them In The News

You want to see exactly why we need to freeze Jerry Jones exactly in this time and keep a mic/camera in front of him at all times? This is it. We all know that the Cowboys are a soap opera, which is really just a polite way of calling them a shitshow. We know that Jerry will stir things up to keep them in the news. It's why we talk about the Cowboys so much because Jerry Jones will say something like this, go home and consider job well done for the day.

It almost makes me want to feel bad for Cowboys fans, but then I remember how awful they are. It's why all of America comes together to laugh at their misery as they try to scream something about the 90s and America's Team. You simply can't be America's Team if you haven't made a conference championship game in nearly 30 years. But, hey, at least you got the news and this Netflix documentary! That's a good way to forget about Micah Parsons and Jerry Jones pissing off another player.

I do appreciate that Jerry understands the content game. We need shit like this when times are slow and we know that Jerry will do or say something asinine that will 100% hurt the Cowboys. Win-win as far as where I come from. I'm willing to let him piss off players and fans if it means we can all make fun of them. Need them to be like 3-7 at some point this year just to see what controversy he'll stir up. Never change, Jerry.
