The NCAA Has Confirmed They Are Essentially Mall Cops With Nerf Guns After Catching Michigan Red-Handed But Letting Them Off Easy

So today marked the official end of the Michigan sign-stealing scandal. I think it's fair to assess the entire thing with this statement: the NCAA caught Michigan redhanded with evidence of lying, stealing, and cheating.....but they are too spineless and powerless to do anything about it. If you actually read the report, you'll find the most absurd statements like how Connor Stalions referred to the operation as the "KGB" and threw his phone into a pond. You'll find that Sherrone Moore initially blamed deleting his text messages due to "storage space". That Jim Harbaugh ran a program that had zero care for the rules. And funniest of all, the NCAA admitted that it should be a postseason ban but they didn't want to punish future players for previous coaches mistakes....

Huh? Since when has that ever mattered? Has this mercy ever been shown to any other programs? I remember my sophomore year in college when Urban Meyer took over the program, we went 12-0, but we weren't allowed to play in the postseason because of the heinous tattoo infractions committed by.....the old coach and zero players on the current roster?

As for the rest of the punishments: who cares? A laundry list of shit that literally doesn't matter. Oh they're fining them $20 million? Oracle Boy will pay that off by lunchtime. Harbaugh done for 10 years? He's in the NFL. Suspending Sherrone for a game in 2026 is so funny to me. Why???? And of course, Connor Stalions, who reportedly cried like a baby in front of the NCAA, is done for 8 years. He's been on his high horse saying how the truth will come out and his name will be cleared, but unfortunately his name his been dragged and his career is likely over.

Whatever. The results today screamed loud and clear what happened. They cheated. Everyone knows it. But the NCAA is like a referee without a whistle, clapping to tell everyone to listen to them! But why would they? The NCAA can't do anything anymore. They literally caught Michigan stealing chips from the casino, and on their way of escorting them out, they let them cash the chips in. It makes no sense other than to say the NCAA is a bunch of pussies that were afraid to give a punishment that would match the crime.
