HEAD ON A SWIVEL! Julio Rodriguez Almost Gets His Knees Taken Out By A Security Guard Who Was Tumbling Down A Hill At The Little League Classic!

We've got the Little League Classic in Williamsport tonight with Seattle and the Mets, but before the games kick off the players get to hang out with the kids and athletes in the tournament. It's a really cool scene, especially for the kids there. Butttttt something tells me that Mariners fans just saw their season flash before their eyes, you could hear the groans and moans from the PNW after this video came out. Seattle superstar Julio Rodriguez sliding down the famous hill on a cardboard box as is tradition, until a security guard came tumbling down the hill and barreling into Julio's knees. Vontaze Burfict would be proud of the way she attacked the knees, we'll say that. 

Awful form on the tackle too, head is down and she's starring at the ground! What happened to heads up tackling? That is how you get hurt lady! But we gotta some better security if we're being honest. Not an old lady stumbling down a hill going directly into Seattle's prized player. We've seen some close calls like this at previous LLWS Classics, but this one may be the one that gets it to stop. I love the event, I think MLB does a really good jo with it, but I can't think that teams love seeing stuff like this. If you've got a middle reliever sliding down the hill, whatever. Julio and his $200 million contract while in the middle of a playoff race? Seattle was sweating bullets. Seriously, imagine he got hurt here, people would lose their minds. 

All in all it was a nothing burger because Julio was fine, but man that was scary if you're a Mariners fan. Julio needs to keep his head on a swivel and watch out for falling old ladies next time, just a little more awareness. Need a little more caution out of that security guard too though. Someone's grandma has an all-time story too, not very often you get to tell a story at card night about almost tearing an MLB All-Star's ACL.
