It's Preseason For Everyone: Broncos TV Broadcast Apologized After Falling For A Very Fake Tweet About Micah Parsons Wanting To Be Traded To Denver

I don't know how this keeps happening to TV stations, but here we are. This is the original tweet from Epic Normie, known for NFL breaking news and rumors, obviously. Well, he made his way to TV:

And we got our apology:

Lesson learned: more diligence In the Broadcast of Broncos Cardinals game I brought a tweet to the broadcast team that made the air that turned out to be fake. The post had graphics that quoted a remark that was attributed to Micah Parsons of the Dallas Cowboys.  Regrettably, this remark was never spoken. I satisfied neither my own professional standards, nor those of the elite team at 9NEWS. Throughout my playing and broadcasting career I make it a point to learn from my mistakes. I have learned from this instance and will not make this mistake again. My sincere apologies to the NFL, 9News and the Denver Broncos. Read and Verify!

We need everyone to sit down and have to go to school on this sort of stuff. Stop falling for parody accounts, a quick Google will tell you if this is true. All you have to do is, I can't believe I'm about to say this, operate like Steven Cheah. Get your news from Adam Schefter. If you don't see a tweet from Schefter, assume everything is fake. It's the safest thing to do instead of getting caught talking about Micah Parsons being a Bronco.

I don't know how we got to the point where everyone needs to be a parody account. There's the Ball Sacks and Centel's of the world but now we have too many. The bit is overplayed, but somehow people keep falling for it. We're getting segments about something that's just not happening. Just follow Schefter, it's a simpleton way to do it, but you won't get trolled.
