The US Soccer Fight Won't End: Kasey Keller Jumps In From The Top Rope, Calls Out Christian Pulisic/Tim Weah For Complaining About Too Much Pressure

We got a full on generation war happening in the US soccer world. I've said it before, I care way more about USMNT than any other soccer. I love Tottenham, but I'll keep hearing that's so Spursy if it means US Soccer is decent. Country over club 100 times out of 100 times. Now, as for what's happening, it's been going on for months, basically ever since Christian Pulisic decided not to play in the Gold Cup. I get it's not the biggest priority, but it should have been considering how bad we've looked for the last year, Pulisic being the face of US Soccer and it's the last competition before the World Cup.

We did get Diego Luna and Malik Tillman and Chris Richards at the Gold Cup, all great. But, all the Gold Cup has done has led to this generation war, starting with Landon Donovan:

And most recently we have Pulisic and Weah calling out the old generation

It's all so fucking stupid, but everyone is going to chime in. Now we have Kasey Keller, who might be the most undervalued player we've had. He was AWESOME, especially against Brazil in 1998. I also don't think he's necessarily wrong here. Pulisic and Weah were on this documentary calling out everything and all you have to do is play well and everyone forgets. Pulisic, as much shit you want to give him, he does show up when it matters.

But you can't complain about too much pressure or anything like that. This era is supposed to be awesome, they have all the talent, it's now just figuring out how to play that way for country. At the same time, you can't be an old player and just immediately go old man take about deleting social media and talk about the game like it's 1998 still. Winning cures all, so I need everyone to shut up, the US to win some friendlies and not flame out at our World Cup next year.
