Father Of The Year Sneaks His 11-Year-Old Son Into A Water Park After Hours To Rip It Up For His Birthday

See? They do have fun in Russia. It's not all wars and breadlines like the media tries to tell you. Sometimes it's a father and son creating core memories by breaking into the local water park. Which, by the way, must have been an absolute thrill for that kid. Almost as much of a thrill as the father founding out he A) wasn't facing the death penalty and B) wasn't losing his job.

From the Daily Mail...

Source - A father who works at a water park in Russia broke in overnight with his son to give the boy a memorable 11th birthday treat. The pair was caught on security cameras splashing in the pools, swimming, and using the water slides. His boss miraculously didn't fire him, stating, 'We did not dismiss the employee. We looked into his situation, tried to understand why he acted this way...His motive was a simple human desire to create an unforgettable moment for his child - to give him an experience he will happily remember for many years.' Good for them. And good on the Kremlin for showing mercy. This whole thing really does show just how much you can get away with if you have a kid. When I was in 4th grade I was at a Celtics game with my dad and brother. During the warm up, my father sent my brother and I to walk across the court to "see if we could get away with it." We didn't know any better so we moseyed on down the court and walked across while the players were shooting around. We were feet away from Antoine Walker when a cop stopped us and asked what the hell we were doing before escorting us away. There were no real repercussions other than being nicely walked off the court. Why? Because we were kids. My point is, I love to see stuff like this. Just kids being kids and dads being dads. That's what life is about. Happy 11th birthday, dude.
