"My Parents Will Write A Check." Absolute DIRTBAG D1 Football Player Arrested For Allegedly Stealing $270k Worth Of Clothing And Watches Off Of A Boat In Minnesota
Source - A North Dakota State University football player was kicked off the team after he was allegedly caught stealing a designer bag filled with high-end valuables, including a pricey Rolex watch, during a wild Fourth of July boat outing in Minnesota.
William Frattalone, 20, is due in court later this week on accusations he swiped a designer bag filled with more than $270,000 worth of belongings, including a $228,000 Rolex and $25,000 worth of limited edition clothing, according to a complaint filed on Aug. 27.
In his latest run-in with the law, Frattalone’s alleged bag-snatching victim reported the apparent theft at the Maynards Restaurant, a bayside eatery in Excelsior, Minn.
The frantic victim explained that he was storing his bag in a secure cabin aboard his friend’s boat, but that it went missing while they were dining on land.
Frattalone somehow wound up on the boat as well, though it’s unclear how he knew the others on board. He tried to enter Maynards with the bag, but was stopped by employees because of their strict bag policy, according to the complaint.
The benchwarmer reportedly insisted that he just needed to bring the bag to his car, so the employees escorted him to the parking lot, where he quickly left the premises.
Later, another passenger on the boat contacted Frattalone about the missing bag. He shrugged it off and allegedly assured that his wealthy parents would “write a check for whatever was inside the bag.”
While executing a search warrant at Frattalone’s Minnesota home, authorities found the missing bag and a majority of the clothing, but the Rolex was nowhere in sight, according to the complaint. Officers also found a video on Frattalone’s phone from July 4 showing the docked boat and the area where several bags, including the one stolen, were stowed.
You know…whenever I read a story like this I always wonder where things went wrong. You've got a good looking, well-off, kid who seemly has every advantage in the world…yet he goes out for a couple beers and ends up robbing someone of over a quarter million dollars. This isn't his first run in with the law either…
The disgraced cornerback is the second player to be booted from the Division 1 team in the last year, following in his teammate Jaiden Pickett’s footsteps after the linebacker was sentenced to three years in prison for accidentally firing a gun inside a home while threatening another athlete last September.
Pickett and Frattalone had been involved in a “physical altercation/argument” with the other athlete, who ran track at the university, before the gunfire erupted, the Brainerd Dispatch reported.
Frattalone — who hadn’t seen any playing time for the NDSU Bisons — was captured on video raving about how he wanted to fight others shortly before the shooting, which miraculously left no one injured, the outlet reported. He never faced any charges in connection to the incident.
So apparently somewhere along the line this kid got the idea that he's invincible. That the law doesn't apply to him. That because he has a good face and a boatload of money he can do whatever he wants. And I understand that in the grand scheme of "football players committing crimes" this one isn't that bad (murder), but it's still insane to me that this kid decided did that. Like what is the end game here, Will? You think they're just going to forget about it?
Obviously he's kicked off the team, but I feel like he won't even care. The problem is that he's too good looking, too rich, and too white. He strikes me as the type of kid who's mean to his mother. Maybe he's got anger issues? I don't know. Chances are he'll end up in jail. Not for this, but for something down the line. He's got the exact same energy as UConn mac and cheese bro. I wish him well, but something tells me that this ship has left port. If you're doing this shit at twenty years old, you've got some major screws lose. Best of luck, Will. You're gonna need it!
