The WNBA Has Leveled Up Rookie Of The Year Award Ceremonies, Switching From A Phone Call To Caitlin Clark Last Year To Awarding Paige Bueckers At The End Of A "Spirit Tunnel"

Listen, it's time we have an honest conversation on whether or not Paige Bueckers is better than Caitlin Clark, to which the answer is at this point she absolutely is, and is probably the second best player in the league behind A'Ja Wilson who is a walking 30/10 machine.

The WNBA is a hilarious league because the last person you'd expect to see at the end of a tunnel for a television show is the WNBA Commissioner there to present you the award for the first time. Did Paige's team tell her she has an appearance this morning on a show and she's not allowed to say no to going on? These "tunnel walks" have become somewhat of a viral sensation with every guest that walks through those doors:

If there's a group of fans that would love the spirit tunnel, it's Barstool Sports dot com readers! And if there's one sign of the WNBA growth, then I'm old enough to remember when ROTYs received their award from a phone call:

Kinda hilarious that they figured out the phone call is probably the dumbest way to try and get some publicity for the league. Never change, WNBA, never change.

P.S. Paige Buckets is legit a superstar:
