Lesson To The Rest Of The World: Stop Trying To Race Against Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, She's Too Damn Fast And Too Damn Dominant
Why do people even bother showing up when Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone is racing? She's going to win. She's going to set world records. Look at that! 6 of her last 7 races she set six world records and finished 2nd today simply because 40 years ago someone was blasted on steroids. She's got 4 Olympic gold medals already, she has gotten to the point where it doesn't matter if it's 400m or 400 hurdles, she's going to make everyone run for second.
Oh and this isn't even her best event! She's a hurdler - shout out Kentucky, shout out Union Catholic for producing this greatness. Doesn't matter to her, she sees a race, she sees a gold medal and probably a world record. Forget the sport or anything else, we're witnessing dominance and greatness. I say it all the time but there are few things as enjoyable as watching America just beat the hell out of every other country in the world in sports. I want every American to be the best out there and win. It's that simple. You put on the red, white and blue and I'm going to go nuts for a dominant victory.
Ridiculous. There's a short list of true dominant athletes in the world right now and she's high on the list. It also sticks out in the individual sports, where it's her, Scottie and Joey Chestnut. Three great American athletes right there. Shout out Sydney though, another dominating event and at 26 she's still right in her prime to set more records.
