LeBron Finally Speaks On His Relationship With Drake, Says That They're "Obviously, Different Places Right Now"
Listen, this one hurt to hear man. Unless you live under a rock, you know that LeBron and Drake have been beefing for over a year now. It started with LeBron dancing to the diss track about Drake calling him a p*do, and then appearing at the "Pop Out" concert in Los Angeles with DeMar Derozan. Then Drake took another shot at him on his recent song "What Did I Miss" and said that he's been "dickriding gang since Headlines" which is lowkey a bar.
Anyway, there aren't two celebrities on this Earth that should have a greater relationship than these two. That was a 15+ year long brotherhood between two people at the top of their respective careers and by all accounts a genuine friendship. "Forever" is legitimately one of the best rap songs of all time:
And there's no bigger LeBron guy at this company than me, but I can't sit idly by and watch him bullshit his way through this interview. You see that nervous tic with his hand in front of his mouth because he knows damn well he stabbed his brother in the back. That's the type of betrayal that will have you considering every person who's ever been in your life, too. I wish we got more than 20 seconds of LeBron lying through his teeth but alas, this is all we've got.
Now he's just gotta stop golfing and get back in the gym so we can win a ring in Year 23. And maybe we're a few steps away from reconciliation, but "it's all love" might get us there one day. We can dream.
P.S. The guy interviewing him gets literally every celebrity on his show. No idea how he does it but cap tip to that guy.
