Myles Garrett Had His Best Individual Performance Ever With A Franchise Record 5 Sacks.....And The Browns Lost By 20

Let me be the first to congratulate Myles Garrett on the best individual performance of his already illustrious NFL career. Today in New England, he had:

- 5 sacks

- Set the Browns franchise record for sacks in a game

- Became the leader for most sacks in a single game against the Patriots franchise

- Became the NFL's career leader in Sacks under the age of 30

.....oh and the Browns got beat every which way by the Patriots, losing 32-13 and it wasn't really that close.

This is honestly like the NFL's version of the Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani tweet. "Myles Garrett has a franchise record 5 sacks on the day and sets the NFL record for most career sacks by a player before turning 30……and the Browns lose 32-13 and fall to 2-6 on the year".

And now I'm torn between a rock and a hard place. I want to say I feel bad for Myles Garrett, but then I remember he requested a trade out of Cleveland.....until we made him the highest paid non-QB in NFL history (which is well deserved). But it's just tough for me to sit here and be like, damn, he deserves way better when he was wanting to leave just a few months ago. But on the other hand, my God does this guy deserve better. He's the best player in the entire sport and our team fucking sucks. This would be like an NBA player going for 75 points and getting beat by 40. How are the Browns not even competitive when they've got a guy out there doing something only 20 people have ever done in the history of the sport?

I got an answer to that one:

Yeah, he fucking stinks. He's short. He has no arm strength. He accuracy isn't good enough. He hates the cold. But what he lacks in all of that, he makes up for in having shockingly low athleticism too. How is this the guy we thought we outsmarted the entire NFL by to go up and draft in the 3rd round? Man, if we were going to look like this, I'd much rather be doing it with Ohio State's own Will Howard.

I'm not saying Shedeur is the guy either, but we have to see him coming out of the Bye against the 1-7 Jets. It's now or never. It's never for Gabriel. Let's see if Sanders has anything. Or else it's back to the draft again next year looking for another rookie quarterback.
