WATCH: Insane Clips From The Weather Plane Inside Hurricane Melissa's Eye Are A Beautiful/Terrifying Look Into What A Category 5 Storm Is Really Like

Absolutely insane scenes coming from Hurricane Melissa right now, quite literally the definition of breath taking. It's not everyday you get to peek inside a Category 5 hurricane, and that's probably a good thing, but it's certainly stunning to see nonetheless.

Also I'm not sure who grows up saying "I want to be a pilot that flies into the most dangerous weather systems on earth as many times as humanly possible" but bless their heart for following through with it. We need to get these Hurricane Hunters involved somehow for the plot of 'Top Gun 3'.

At the very least I hope they got to buzz the tower when they got back, I'd say they earned it. What fearless beautiful maniacs they are volunteering to fly straight into Mother Nature's asshole, AKA the 5th strongest hurricane ever recorded in the Atlantic.

People in the replies were saying just how rare it is for a NOAA aircraft to leave a storm due to turbulence, so Melissa must be one helluva salty cunt out there. But she still did provide some brief moments of beauty too.

Jesus CHRIST. Those last 2 videos are from different storms but really give a harrowing look into what those guys are dealing with. And that's where the beauty stops, because Melissa is absolutely ravaging Jamaica right now. Truly scary shit.

Hopefully that wicked cunt Melissa starts to lose some steam ASAP and things start to settle down for everyone sheltering right now. Just another reminder how inconsequential we really are on this planet and how powerful Mother Nature can be. Gotta appreciate life while you got it. T's & P's all around.

And also be thankful you don't live near a volcano either, what the hell is going on around here lately huh? Fucking a man.
