Mystery Solved: Lamar Jackson Admits He Was The One Who Demanded 'All The Toys' Get Cleaned Out The Ravens Locker Room, Grounded His Teammates For Losing

We got the annual story in the NFL where a team cleans out the locker room, refuses to let their players play ping pong and basically turns that into a storyline to get pissed at the coaches. But, we have a twist here with the Ravens. It wasn't the coaches who did it like everyone originally said. It was Lamar:

The man, while injured, grounded his teammates. I don't think it means anything. Every Ravens fan is screaming how this is leadership, even though it's October and you got a 2-5 team. This is all the fake sort of stuff that just fires up a fanbase. Basically it's a cheat code for any sort of quarterback. Doesn't matter if you're a rookie, a vet, an MVP or a journeyman. If you're the one who can say they cleaned out the locker room, every fan will do a version of this:

I don't see anyone coming in and praising my leadership when I ground my kids. I don't see anyone saying 'hey, they are your kids, you probably did something to fire them up and cause this too.' Because that's all I think about when it comes to Lamar Jackson doing this. If only there was something he could have done to help! If only he was winning more games when healthy or doing more leadership than 'take away all the fun shit.' I also refuse to believe this ever helps a team. I know they beat the Bears, but, that's more of a Bears thing than a lack of ping pong and video games thing.

That said, I do admire the threat of taking away the TVs. For any other parent out there, you know the threats you make when you get so worked up, you just run out of words/speaking normally. You threaten to take away a bed, maybe the entire room, I don't know, you just get foggy and lose it while trying to maintain control. That's Lamar there.
