Ravens Dominate A Dead Dog Of A Dolphins Team 28-6 To Keep The Train Rolling

Disgusting to say out loud, but 3-5 has never felt so good. It's been laid out a million times at this point, but the pathway is right there in front of us and requires quite a bit of taking care of business.
Tonight was exactly that. Taking care of business. I wouldn't say by any means that the Ravens looked the part of a championship caliber football team, but they certainly looked like a team with much more life and much more purpose than they did the first month of the season.
Takeaways (or the lack thereof) is an area where this defense has really struggled outside of the Browns beatdown in week 2 and it's a narrative that's chased them after several postseasons in a row with little to nothing in that department. Getting that 4th quarter pick against Caleb Williams last week may have really opened the floodgates, and that strip we earned early is exactly the type of takeaway that we seem to never manufacture. In fact, it's the kind of thing that killed us early this year on the other side of the ball. That totally swung the early momentum our way and cashing it in on a 4th and goal (another area we've struggled in a big way) was huge.
The first half still wasn't stellar, but we did enough to cash in another touchdown and let the Dolphins spin their wheels and take a 14-6 lead into half.
The 2nd half… was a different story. That was the Ravens football team we all know and love. Lamar had shaken off the rust by then and that drive to open the half was exactly what the doctor ordered. Just a cohesive drive where we kept moving the chains and bent them to our will.
The drive that followed that was Lamar porn. The dime he dropped to Zay Flowers was magnificent, and the way he climbed the pocket on the next play, kept his eyes upfield, and fired the dart to Bateman for the touchdown was the elite type of QB play that I don't think Lamar gets enough credit for because all of the other highlight shit he brings to the table.
The pair of other turnovers were refreshing, shout-out to Malaki Starks for getting his first ever pick.
Go to Minnesota, do much of the same, and we'll be back at and above .500 and closing in on another division title in no time.
