ESPN & ABC Have Been Pulled From YouTubeTV, Figure It Out Assholes

Oh good, a $20 credit. Fuck you YouTubeTV. Fuck you Disney. You stink. Booo.

Something like this seems to happen once a year. A major provider gets in a contract dispute with a major network, they fail to come to an agreement by the time their contract officially ends, it's always conveniently during football season (or right before a major sporting event), and suddenly ____ is pulled from ____.

Remember 2023, when Disney and Charter Communications (Spectrum cable) had a carriage dispute (just learned that term this morning) that lasted over 10 days? It happened right before the NFL season kicked off. It was annoying as shit. Thankfully, they came to a resolution mere hours before Monday Night Football kicked off. So nobody had to miss this.

It's so frustrating. I never know who exactly I should be most mad at. The hundred billion dollar multimedia empire who owns all the important channels and is fucking up everyone's sports watching. Or the trillion dollar multinational tech corporation who's playing hardball and fucking up everyone's sports watching. Fuck both of you. Your companies are so rich. Your customers are all paying a stupid amount of money to use/watch your shitty product. I'm sure YouTubeTV will be charging my credit card for however the hell much money they feel like until long after I'm dead. Leaning on your paying customers who so desperately just want to watch fucking football on Saturday as a bargaining chip is so messed up. It's a staring contest between two rich greedy douche bags, and I'd imagine that in the end, whoever's heart is the slightest bit less black will be the one to blink first.

Just fix it, assholes. If I don't have my ESPN & ABC back for college football tomorrow..... well I'm not going to do anything about it. I certainly won't cancel my YouTubeTV (are you kidding? and go through the hassle of learning a new service? that's insane). But my boss will send A LOT of angry tweets voicing his displeasure. Good luck dealing with that, millionaire executives.

And a special fuck you to ESPN if this whole thing is just a ploy to get people to download their new app. I will give my computer a pandemic's worth of viruses from watching sketchy ass illegal streams before I pay $30 for ESPN.
