'Go to TikTok ... Why Is the Flag Blowing?': Kim Kardashian Is Convinced the Moon Landing Was Fake
Kim Kardashian seems to be putting feelers out there to see if she'd be welcome on an episode of Macrodosing. I'd obviously have to check with the powers that be, but I'd imagine we could carve out some time if she'd like to come on and discuss the moon landing.
I'm not here to shit on Kim, because she seems like she's done all the research TikTok has to offer and it is admittedly incredible we were able to somehow send people to the moon at a time when there were only five channels on television. But just very quickly:
- There is gravity on the moon, as evidenced by the fact the astronauts could stand on the surface without floating away.
- The flag had a rod across the top of it and the "blowing" look came from the motion of moving the pole around in a vacuum where there's no air resistance.
- There are no stars in the footage because the cameras needed to be set to account for the much brighter Sun, rendering stars virtually invisible.
Also, Kim cites heavily edited and debunked Buzz Aldrin quotes in the full clip on the show. If there is one man on the planet whom I'm certain believes the moon landing was real, it's the one who will literally punch you in the face for suggesting otherwise.
Maybe Kim has access to better information than I do. I'm just a little dubious that the woman who doesn't know what a gallon of milk costs has cracked the code on the biggest conspiracy of all-time.
