Friendly Reminder The Good People At Sling Have An Option To Watch ESPN, Including Day Passes
You may have seen the doot-da-doo going on with Youtube TV and Espn.
This happens way too often, and both sides blame each other, and the customers are left scrambling trying to watch their games. It sucks, it's not fun and somewhere along the line when we all thought dropping cable was the answer and streaming popped off, streaming got too expensive and the whole thing got fucked up. I equate it to this when it comes streaming, cable etc. It's like someone organizing a dinner inviting you to your house and being really excited to get there for a big feast and they forget the dinner rolls. It's still good but it's not perfect. Cable offers you everything but no multiview, streaming offers you multiview but every 3 months or so they fight and you could lose your networks. Just figure out a way to get us everything we want with 1 app or device whatever. It's very taxing.
Anyway, our old friends Sling have a great promo for those of us in a jam, offering 1 day passes for 4.99 until these people figure it out. Trust me I'm not happy having to fork over the money but at this point what do you want me to do? I already pulled the plug on cable and I'm not going back and I need to watch the games so this is the best quick fix. Long term ... likely not, but for 1 day -sign me up.
Also ... absolute nightmare that college basketball is just days away. Just a nightmare upon nightmare scenario.
